Coming to Portland is always a good time. It’s almost always very laid back and we get to spend time with two very close friends of ours. We came up Friday night and head back to the bay this evening.
Yesterday we went out to “the gorge” I believe officially called Multnomah Falls. It was amazingly beautiful. The pool below was suround with huge snow drifts which spiked up toward the water. I love watching the patterns of the water sprays that separate from the main fall, each spray following the pattern of the one before it with a slight variation.
Hoping to get pictures up in the next couple days, which means I’ll have to look for a good gallery/flickr plugin for Wordpress.

Back in the states. Trip was amazing. Definately wasn’t long enough but what can you do…
I’ll try to write some more about the trip later in the week.
School has started backup. I’ve got some papers I need to post from my summer session.
I’m supposed to graduate this December, but I’ve got a senior thesis to write before that can happen. I might postpone graduation a semester just so I can write the thesis. Have to think about that.

I’ll be in Ireland from 9/6-9/17. Going to introduce my wife to the rest of my family and show her around the country of my birth. After that we’ll go to Reading in England for my cousin’s wedding.

We’re off to Yosemite today. Gonna meetup with some old friends. Really looking forward to this. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to hangout with any of them and well…. life has changed a lot since then.
On a side note, we got Setanta yesterday!!! Now we get to watch rugby & GAA without having to head to a British sports pub. Plus with Tivo I can watch the games whenever I want. Mark is a happy boy for sure
